A zero waste property ‘The Cedar Castle’ is themed on the local Kumauni architecture and construction style. All the 13 dwellings consist of 7 executive rooms and 6 Cedar Suites are designed keeping in mind the local culture & heritage.

Aware of the climatic conditions each room and suite is furnished to make your stay most comfortable and unforgettable. Internal mud walls, to keep units cozy even during the peak winter season. Hard Wooden floor step so you avoid direct contact with the cold floor when you alight from your bed. Fire place in every room. Individual balcony, Hand painted doors and windows give the rustic feel, attached modern toilets and many more.

All the rooms and suites give you the breath taking view of the Himalayas even from the comfort of your bed.

Each Suite has been named on the local wild fruits & flowers and festivals, like Kafal, Hisalu, fuldai, buransh etc.

Food is of primary focus  at ‘The Cedar Castle’. We take great care to treat you with cuisines from kumaun to the world. You get the choicest food ranging from local Dupke to Punjabi to tandoori to Chinese to Italian and what not.

The café activate your palette with our out of the world beverages (Hot & cold) and the choicest of breads, pastries and snacks etc.

Enjoy the pristine uninterrupted view of the Himalayas from the comfort of your chair in the restaurant while enjoying mouth – watering food.

The twin deck 100 cover restaurant gives you the choice to enjoy your food directly under the sun or under the canopy.

For groups we have ample open space to have a Jam / quite musical night at the open air deck.

A walk in, road side restaurant we entertain guests intending to relish the best of food on offer.
